Serge,

I concur that Eaton's stores look great and have very good deals. One of the stores I recently visited in Calgary, Alberta, has just undergone some renovations and looks very appealing. I prefer shopping at Eaton's over the Bay or Sears, both of which I admittedly haven't visited in years.

Sad, of course, to see where Eaton's has gone over the course of the last year.

Although recent Eaton's advertising has targeted the younger generation of shoppers, I found that the majority of other shoppers in the store were in their 30s-50s, and very few in their teens or early 20s (although the staff was younger). So contrary to a number of analysts' reports, I don't see that the traditional/older shoppers have been forsaken while GenX'ers have been attracted to the store. Number of shoppers was lower than in the past, however.

Just another observer and former ETN holder.
