Ram, I am really happy for you that you are close to getting even on this, but why don't you start a SEW thread instead of cluttering up this one?

John Dessauer was pounding the table on Singer (SEW) from 1996 and recommended buying below $ 20, then. Due to Asian problems and stock market crash, the stock crashed. But this dog of a stock which slid as low as 3.75 recently, has no room but to go up, as conditions change.Volume has been above average recently, probably due to some value oriented bottom fishers. Once the mutual fund managers start buying as profits and sales improve SEW should hit double digits again by late 1999. I think it is a good buy for patient investors.
