Rhino records has an entire series called New Wave Hits of the 80s. If you want a few good books, try the Trouser Press Record guides that came out in the early 80s. But the best book I've ever seen on "New Music" is called "The New Music" by Glenn A. Baker and Stuart Coupe on Harmony Books (a division of Crown publishing), copyright 1980. It has tons and tons of color pictures and covers just about anyone who was anyone from all over the world. I picked up my copy at the Yale Co-op for $1 about 10 years ago. (g) - Jeff
