rude....re: splits, floats, china....

lee made a valid point on float, both you and mohan point out problem with splits in a less then momentum issue...

consider china....dell management believes china will be second largest market in five years. much confidence that a less then free market society will embrace capitalism and be governed by communism..a bit of a dichotomy....maybe "mikey" has an inside line to future political and economic stability of an oppressed society...

anyone remember when western interests rushed to the perceived bonanza of the eastern bloc and russia, who were perceived to be shifting from communism to capitalism.............ideology doesn't die easily......ask anyone in taiwan...no socialist/communist form of governing has ever transitioned to free market without tremendous political instability, bordering on revolution............dell moved asian ops from hk to singapore.........if hk the gateway to prc, and prc your future second largest market...why not remain at the front door.......

throwing out some points of reality to consider......will welcome all intelligent discourse, and will tolerate the flamers...
