nice to meet you, edwarda. i find a great deal of the ebb and flow of life and postings on this thread fascinating. i feel like it is my personal viewing window into a cross-slice of pre-y2k society. i'm reading mckie with interest and haven't drawn any conclusions about the young man personally as i except that he seems to be quite energetic. as far as learning something is concerned, i'm always open to a new piece of hard information, juicy tidbits that ends up on the cnn cutting room floor so to speak, or pieces of disparate information that Janelle and i weave into our understanding and lively tabletalk. all the other stuff is just locker-room/bullpen chatter as far as i'm concerned. sometimes i join in, and sometimes i just contribute to the spittoon :)
