NetConnect is a full-duplex telephony card designed to carry your voice over the Internet using any kind of analog telephone (including cordless). NetConnect works in conjunction with your modem (28.8 KB or better), an Internet connection, Internet telephony software (included free with NetConnect), your PC and the telephone.
NetConnect provides you two options for making Internet phone calls:
Use NetConnect to call other Internet telephone users, and save the most money - it's virtually free long distance. The sole cost is the price of your Internet service provider account. You obtain the best results by talking to others who also have NetConnect, because the quality sound benefits the receiver, not the person speaking.
