Has it occurred to anyone that this technology is surrepticiously gathering information on non-permissioned consumers? Regardless of their "double-blind" technology, there's a very good chance of Govt. intervention shutting down any technology that isn't gaining overt permission to track destination movements and place cookies that can be read by any Engage site-client. Huge amounts of money are being thrown at the basic problem of personalizing content and ads to the visitor, yet from an advertising standpoint, ad-serving based on guesstimates and wishing will always be questioned. A billion+ marketcap? LOL DoubleClick buying Abaccus for another billion? ROFL Show me technology that functions ubiquitously on the internet triggered by search and destination activity, coupled with geo-demographics/psychographics ... now there's the future!
