Both have expressed an interest in being comic book writers except they both also realize that stickmen is about the best they can draw.
They constantly talk about developing software and want to write new levels for the video games they play. They draw storyboards and have some really wacky ideas (wonder where they get that from.

I never discourage them from reading Captain Underpants types of books. I just want to make sure they read good stuff as well.

p.s. (I think email will totally lessen the feeling of your college bound being away, but, I think actually you may want to give him the first semester to himself. Don't talk to him until Thanksgiving. Then, when he comes home for it it will be that much better!)
