Dear Ron,

Although there are other paper operations in S. Africa, I'll bet it is Sappi for whom he works. In the paper industry alone, I've checked with companies as geographically far-flung as MoDo, Fletcher, Smurfit and SSCC, WY, and W's Rigesa operation.

I've talked at great length with HON, the source of so many of the embedded systems that seem to make so many people nervous. Having seen so many of the systems' code, I am not going to do more than take the usual precautions one does before a major storm that may knock out the normal flow to which we are all so accustomed and by which we have been spoiled. (Keeping my slide rule handy, for example.)
