Hello everybody!

I wonder how people are reading the "runup" of NN before earnings? It is rather difficult to "disconnect" the influence of the market generally from the strength or weakness of NN. It seems to me that it is a massive case of:
SHOW ME!

I am a Canadian living in CA and of course I like to root for the home team. NN seems to have plenty going for it--particularly in its unrealized potential gains in the
"venture capital" field, and in its product lines and so
on, BUT:

-- will the company be able to convince the financial community that its financial "unreliability" is behind it, and that its acquisitions will not turn out to be disasters?

-- is Mr. Lutz a miracle worker or just a guy who knows how to sell himself?

-- can NN present a steadily increasing order position?
and an improving margin situation?

-- can NN get products out the door, and onto the P & L
statement?

-- can NN show a steadily increasing EPS situation and
play the analysts with some SKILL? I haven't seen a lot of that in the past.

I am convinced enough to hold 2k NN shares--totally small
potatoes in the whole scheme of things--but still important
to me. I am wanting to see whether I am foolishly optimistic or actually in touch with the genuine virtues of
this somewhat lagging former high flyer.
