Stocker, I just sent the following email to Mark Evans. Cheers!!!

ATI shares jump after Intel retreats from market
by Mark Evans - Friday, August 20, 1999

Mr. Evans, I would like to comment on your story noted above and tell you that the information in the article given by Mr. Peter Glaskowsky was extremely biased and inaccurate and has irritated many more knowledgeable ATI investors. It is your responsibility as a journalist to present facts as well as opinion. Mr. Glaskowsky's facts about ATI market share and not doing as well as a year ago were not fact at all and completely contradictory to the truth. They have experienced revenue growth of around 60-70% since one year ago. They have continually gained market share and have not lost anything to anyone. Your article likely wrongly effected the decisions of less knowledgeable investors & that is not right. Quite frankly I am becoming more dissatisfied with the Globe & Mail ROB all the time and more in favour of the Financial Post. It is situations like this that effect that decision.
