I think you've summed up the situation in a nutshell right there and, really, nothing much more need be added.

Since my double lung transplant a little more than a year and a half ago at the age of 41, I have had the best health in my life. I think I have benefited more than anyone by the present society and its system of technology. Thanks for your best wishes. --Alan
