Michael: Your point about SFE holding companies in trouble and selling winners is a very astute observation IMO. They seem to think of themselves as being in the repair business ! Have you passed on this observation to SFE management? Seems like this weakness may be built into the SFE culture and will need some open vision to correct. The new IPO program does however provide a way to keep a piece of the winners. But the idea that SFE should put its time and effort into its best prospects rather than trying to fix up its worst is very insightful. Hope SFE thinks about this, and acts to concentrate on its strongest companies - helping them become gorillas and kings. Chaz
