Thank you. I wish to share with all aspiring writers a fomular for writing a best selling novel. This was given to me for the price of a beer ( 15 cents..a long time ago..in the forties ) by a successful novelist of the day, George Victor Martin ? author of " Our Vines Have Tender Grapes"...it was a best seller which brought him 40,000 dollars in film rights ( equivalant to half a million today).
Formular.
1. Boy meets girl.
2. Girl meets boy.
3. Boy falls in love with girl.
4. Girl falls in love with boy.
5.Girl gets in pickle.
6. Boy gets girl out of pickel.
7. Boy gets pickle in girl..........slightly risque?? used to be.

The author told me that if you could get a title from the Bible or a Shakespeare play...would enhance your odds for success. At the time, it took me a while to come up with the fifteen cents because the price of a beer had just gone from ten cents to fifteen ( a fifty % increase)...Since that time, I consider it one of my best investments.
I did not use it commercially, since I am just breaking out of a sixty year old "writer's" block....longer than Ellison's....but the story IMHO was worth i5 cents...good luck in all your ventures.
