Graham, your sleuthing is amazing. You and Sean are to be commended for your efforts. Drug-resistant staph in the "general population" scares the hell out of me! Those types of "resistant" killers were reserved for the old and feeble. Now they're killing kids. Don't get me wrong. I feel very badly for the families that lost those 4 kids. I have kids of my own. How would I feel if they got that bug and there was no known cure? If it's free and out of the hospitals there is no way to predict what will happen next (except that there will be many more cases in the future). If MBI has some Enhancins that can help stem the loss of human lives in the future, where are they? They made a lot of announcements in the past about these combo-drugs but they have said nothing lately. Somebody told me that is because they are injectable drugs and their development will be very slow without a major partner to fund their development - a partner focused on extending their drug's patent life! Who cares? Wake up MBI. If you have a combo-drug solution, crank it up. It's only going to get worse out there. How many kids or adults do we have to lose because you can't get the "right" deal?
