Does anyone know how Media Metrix measures a "unique user"? I would imagine it is done through IP address - with the assumption that each computer has a unique IP address and that each user has one computer. If this is true, however, then there the numbers might be skewed. In my case, I have three computers in my office and two at home - and I am the only user on all of them. I know that not everyone has five computers that they use regularly, but I imagine that there are a lot of people that may have two. Of course, there could also be a lot of homes that have more than one person using a single computer.
