I'm a goldbug ;) I started pulling silver out of pocket change in 1964, and the next thing I knew I was a coin collector, then a coin dealer, then a gold stock investor, a scripophilist, a ghost town fan visiting many in western US, a webmaster, etc...

One different aspect of my mining interest is my father ran a foundry. I have actually poured brass, bronze, and aluminum into molds and made stuff. When I need to get in touch with reality, I can just look at the nice toned bronze bookends on my desk that I made 30 years ago.
