AUSTIN, Texas, April 1 (Reuter) - Prime Medical Services Inc said Tuesday it raised its senior credit facility to $135 million from $90 million.. The increase was syndicated by Nationsbank of Texas, a NationsBank Corp (NYSE:NB) unit, as syndication and documentation agent, and First National Bank of Boston as administrative agent, it said. Ken Shifrin, chairman of Prime Medical, said the increased facility, combined with the company's cash flow, will enhance its ability to accelerate acquisitions of lithotripter operations and develop new business. Lithotripsy is a non-invasive method for treating kidney stones with shock waves that pulverize kidney stones and allow them to pass painlessly from the body. Prime Medical operates 55 lithotripters in 32 staes.
