Went all the way to the President did you? Must be that great name of yours!

I just got off the phone with Tom Dudchik (the correct spelling of his last name) of Investor Relations and he told me that Alydaar is not sure whether they actually will have a press release on this. I weighed in strongly in favor of one, but, apparently, the brokers who they have talked to would rather they hold off and just knock everyone away by announcing when the listing is approved.

Hmmm. I think that the brokers think that no one interested in ALYD will think to check SI for news. Got that? In other words, perhaps they sense a really good buying opportunity before word "leaks" out. OK, that's a wee bit cynical, but check the volume this morning, it's way up. Unless, course, it's all your friends and relatives buying, we got us some accumulatin' goin' on <g>.

Actually, the real reason why Alydaar is leaning towards no press release is that they are bending over backwards to be the one company that will not give in to the Y2K hype. Considering people like me will hype the news anyway, I guess why not choose to stay above the fray?

Any comments fellow ALYD shareholders? Press release or no press release?
