Hopeless, but what else can you expect from the source? After we party hearty on New Year's Eve, shall we hold a Cinqo de Mayo party? Of course, there are going to be some difficulties associated with Y2K, but civilization as we know it is not going to grind to a halt. Anyone who really follows these issues knows the status here and in other, less prepared countries, and knows about backups and contingency plans. Make of it what you will, but I think at the very least her motives for coming to the thread were suspect, her "gift" of discussion disingenuous, and her claim re: maltreatment ludicrous.
I don't think any of us need to feel too badly about her exit. |
