Pose,

My thoughts are based only on speculation and opinion. First, I did ask one of the JVs last week the exact question. I was told then that they were confidant that they could control the well and drill deeper. How an open hole with two zones exposed of different pressure can be controlled is beyond me - however I have been told it can be done.

My sense of the game is that casing now would be for production. S&P indicated that casing and drilling with a smaller diameter bit would be difficult. If we could produce two zones without water and good rates I would be satisfied. To me the bird in the hand is worth ten in this bush. The risk of loosing this well now would freighten the hell out me.

So, how would it be done. I think they would first flow test the bottom zone. Them move up and flow test the top zone. Then based on the results make a production decision.

Bob
