I think the RCMP has better things to do than hunt down anybody who's ever placed an illegal bet or looked at pornography on the Internet.

However, child pornography is a different thing altogether and I would not be surprised if they run business as usual while they continue their investigation of the people who like to look at child pornography. I'm sure there are more of them than we could ever care to imagine.

The authorities have used the Internet to successfully capture pedophiles all over the world. The Internet is an awesome thing really and it can me used for both good and evil. The ability to catch pedophiles "in the act" so to speak makes it a whole lot easier to prosecute them. Remember until recently this kind of evidence would have been impossible to get. Sorry for going a little off topic here but people who like to look at child pornography may also have a higher tendency to commit related crimes in real life.

Seeing as how most young children are computer literate and like to surf the Net, I for one am glad that the authorities are taking this seriously. To hell with stock market fraud, I want my child to be protected from the pedophiles of the world. There's no way I'm going to be able to get the kid not to surf the Net so the pedophiles will have to go.

I really don't think the RCMP is all freaked out because of SNMM's regular business (gambling and pornography). The child pornography is the real stinker here if in fact it is true. I don't think Gambling Online Magazine would print it if it wasn't so there must be some truth to it.
