Bob, in a just prior post to you John Dally asked the question.
<< Is it worth looking below the mid-cap range? There are so many gold cos with market caps of $20 million and less selling for < $1/shr. I was thinking that these might get the biggest bounce whenever the gold market turns.>>
Would that question include mining companies that believe that they do have gold in their dirt, but as yet not been able to extract it because the methods available do not work on this different type of ore. For example, on the SI thread GPGI (Global Platinum and Gold) I read that thread for about 3 months trying to decide if to buy stock in, but as good as the prediction of those very sure of it, was stuff like the gold is in Arizonia desert dirt and the company has been trying for 8 years to extract the gold with poor results. Amazing how someone read 8 years ago of an almost unlimited supply of gold easy to access, and only needing an extraction process, so brought in and I'am sure expected in 1 year or two to cash in one hundred times initial investment. But they are still waiting, and that share brought 8 years ago for 1 dollar is now worth 18 pennies. I wonder what that 1 dollar would be today if left in a bank cd for 8 years. Needless to say that some on that thread are hot under the collar, but its a lot of hot air recycled over and over on their posts directed towards the company GPGI which ignores them big time. I only mention this at somewhat lenght to identify that outsiders see this person as a gold bug in a not nice light, but all he is is a man that believed something too good to be true and mad that it has not come true in 8 years. This good man I speak of may be seened by outsiders as a gold bug, but really he was just caught into a sticky web of gold threads and will not free himself.
So, are you current with Arizina desert dirt mining for gold and other precious metals, or just the type of mining already done for a hundred years ?
Opps, almost forgot the question that caused me to post to you.
Outside USA, Canada and other already established countries are there any that have good resources but as yet untapped ?
