again, if it is so great, why isn't it contributing to actual gdp dollars? that bang for the buck is still resulting in 2.5% gdp growth - about the same as when there was no buck there (slightly better).

isn't this analogous to chaining autos to horsepower, as mr reichebacher points out? where does it stop?
