I think we're in agreement on all fronts, Tony. When I say "consumer/customer", I am referring to both the individual consumer market as well as the server/business market. Also agree with your point on growth rates.

I was just trying to point out that many consumers/businesses associate their computing/online experience with MSFT, not a INTC or CSCO. Because of this Brand equity that has been built up over the years, putting all the negatives regarding MSFT's performance issues aside, MSFT will have *some* leverage as we move forward. I think INTC would be making a grave mistake if they underestimated MSFT's ability to drive markets and customer experiences. I know for a fact that my organization has too much equity built into their user relationship with the MSFT platform, and going forward there's just no chance of switching. That doesn't mean different routers/switches/chips could not be employed throughout the network without our 100k worldwide users not knowing the difference.

Glass half full/glass half empty kind of discussion I guess! Personally, I think a little fear is good medicine for MSFT, but I don't thing their in any real danger of having INTC/CSCO push them off the mountain anytime soon.

Just my opinions as usual.
