TechniClone Inc. launches Year 2000 initiative with IBM.

Ocean City, CA --(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 1, 1997-- TechniClone (NASDAQ: CLON), announced today the signing of an exclusive agreement with IBM, Inc. entering CLON into the global $600 billion US Year 2000 marketplace. This agreement includes all IBM platforms.

The partnership between CLON and IBM provides to this global marketplace the most complete and automated solution to the Year 2000 problem. A. Hugh Skamm, CLON's CEO said, "we have conservatively estimated a revenue stream of $280 million USD over the next 18 months." Added CEO Skamm: "Our competitors had better get the hell out of our way, as we have every intention of crushing them."

CLON is currently negotiating with a number of major corporations who have Year 2000 requirements and the need for these organizations to become Year 2000 compliant.
