Can you add a cash account to a Portfolio?

No. Many have asked for this feature but for some reason SI has not incorporated it. Pretty basic feature IMO. I am not a programmer but I would guess it is easy to program too.

A POOR substitute is to use one of the money market funds (FSLXX, VMPXX or other) . You have to adjust the shares by dividing out the percentage rate. Even after you go through the required gyrations it still is not right. My portfolio goes up even if the total value goes down due to changing interest rates.
