Regarding Nissan's debt:
Ford has a Debt/Equity of 5.42 (Debt $114 billion)
GM has a Debt to Equity ratio of 7.25 (Debt $95 billion)
Nissan has a Debt to Equity ratio of 1.45 (Debt $17 billion)

Debt is not the issue here. Nissan needs to show growth in sales and profitability. According to their CFO Nissan is expected to be profitable after the coming quarter. If it does the share price could climb to $20 in anticipation of future increase in earnings. If profitability continues then we may see $40/share IMO.
