Of course, Cheeky, they occur regularly-that's not the issue at all.
I put minimal importantce on the key dates and failures thereof.

My doomeRealist ranking remains as is until:

1. We see 3 months results from embedded systems failures, starting Jan, and

2. circle of dominos cause and effects, and

3. the fault tolerance ability of the entire infrastructure to hold up due to the above, and

4. declaration of National State of Emergency, with which resultant EOs and PDDs, to be declared in December, which if occurs, will tell us what the highest echelons of govt and military themselves project what will be the most likely senarios, and

5. whether the market and banking will be taken out by December, due to man's panic, paranoia, and as the result of having discovered, too late they were totally deceived by Kosswillkillem and co.

If the embedded systems were not at all a problem, I would give Y2K,
only a 3 on the scale,

Due to the other factors, I give it a 9+.
