Is there a way to determine how many days are available
for a certain stock in the database? Using daysrequired
and daystoload is not the solution I am looking for
because it is not possible to figure these values
out during run time.

Also iterating through the data set keeping count
doesnt work either as an exception is thrown and the
by default the stock is tossed.

There should be stuffed in the database for each
symbol how many datapoints are available for a given
stock. The reason why one needs to know this is if
there are recent IPOs. Any call to a calls to
technical indicator function bombs because of certain
assumed default periods. Subsequently, the symbols
get tossed out.

There should be made available a clean way to do this.
