To all: (I don't know how to change the 'to' field yet)
I've been lurking here a long time and have found this thread to provide good advice. I would like to suggest a couple of new subjects for discussion. They are:
1) Since day traders are in cash much of the time, what would be a good thing to do with your money when you are not in a particular stock? I know that my broker (Datek) pays me interest on my account. I assume that Datek puts my money in a money market fund overnight and that is what I'm getting interest on. Is there a better place to put the money when it is not being used?
2) If one's trading method stops being successful, what can a trader do to recover the method or what can a trader do to develop a new trading method? My own method was successful for many months but has recently dried up. What can I do to keep from being killed while I develop a new method?
I would appreciate discussion on these two topics from those on this thread.
Thanks,
EFM
