Hello Charles, here's some good reading from PCWorld. The link is dated, so the article will disappear, it is from the Sept99 PcWorld magazine. www1.pcworld.com One article discusses that the Athlon systems were priced about $200 less than Piii counterparts. That may be one straw Intel considered in cutting their prices this weekend. steve
