My notes on . . BAY/tse . . PFG/tse . . VLG/vse . . SLG/ase . . PVO/vse

I do not own any of these stocks right now but will be playing them in the coming weeks and months. Alot of this is just my opinion and if you've watched me for a while you know that I'm nuts so PLEASE do your own DD. I have been known to make mistakes (and big ones!). . . end of disclaimer.

BAY/tse . . . last@1.45Cdn . . . Corner Bay . . . a silver play . . . the stock had the biggest volume day on Friday for a long time hitting it's 52 week high of 1.90Cdn before closing @1.45Cdn close to the day's low. The stock has begun a major speculation cycle with a hold recommendation from Kaiser on August 13th and a speculative buy recommendation from a Deutsche Bank analyst last week. The stock looks over bought here and I would wait for a major pullback before considering it as a short term buy. Let the stock decide where it wants to build a new base first . . . It was only 0.94 on August 13th and I thought it was over bough then . . . I guess other people didn't agree with me . . . oh well.

PFG/tse . . . last @1.50Cdn . . . Pacific Rim Mining . . . note the sharp trend reversal last week . . . awaiting results from their property in Peru . . . I think the stock looks way over bought here again so we wait for a pullback to enter . . . One month supports are at 1.00, 1.20, and 1.50 all Cdn funds. You see why I want to wait for a pullback? Interesting activity though for a stock that hasn't released something significant yet . . . wow looks like something is up!

VLG/vse . . . last @0.60Cdn . . . Valerie Gold . . . halted last week for a precious metals project acquisition in South America, news next week . . . price looks ok here for entry but we need to wait for the news next week to see if it's worth playing.

SLG/ase . . . last @0.60Cdn . . . Sterling Resource . . . oil and gas play . . . waiting for confirmation on their bid to Romanian government for an exploration license so they can begin work on their 1.5 million acres of property in southwestern Romania . . . likely to have acceptance of bid by end of September. Kaiser says once the bid is accepted the stock should easily move back above $1.00Cdn in the short term and possibly $3.00 to $5.00 in the next two years. He believes that Sterling could turn into a very big winner.

PVO/vse . . . last @0.47Cdn . . . Peruvian Gold . . . announced last week that a 2,000 metre drill program had begun on their property in northern B.C. and the stock reversed it's downtrend . . . at this price the stock looks like a good risk/reward but it's thinly traded so make your buying decisions accordingly. Also Kaiser said to forget about speculation of PVO turning into an internet play. They have lots of money in the bank and it looks like the speculation cycle has begun so this is definitely one to watch and consider as a position trade. Daytrading this one would be extremely difficult unless the volume really picks up.

Actually almost all of the above stocks would be better position traded than day traded unless they are having a very high volume day.

Lola:)

P.S.: I would appreciate any comments on the above stocks or other junior mining/oil/gas plays coming up . . . thanks
