If you have these programs, how would you get them on the server in the first place? You would, of course, need to be logged in as a user. Then(assuming they're nlm's), you would have to establish rconsole(with a password) in order to run them.

The bindery scenario is moot and not a hack. You must log in as an admin(unless you're foolish enough to give users sys rights) in order to fix the bindery and retrieve the backed up copies for hacking. Then, sure, one could decrypt passwords.

My statement was:"If you can hack a 3.x or 4.x server remotely without(again,without) the admin password..."
