Odd indeed.

There can be some very strange effects when copying older files, over newer ones, or vice-versa. Your original method might have worked, but I wouldn't want to implement it too often. <g>

There's too many variables involved in OS re-installation/restoration that can make it extremely problematic. Then again...whatever works. :)
