Thank you Wily,PMS witch and Rich.. You've all been very kind to try and help me even though I didn't give you enough info. I think I'm getting there. The store partitioned the new drive 13G ,and loaded windows 98 by transferring the data,but they didn't transfer any of the other data and left it up to me to format d: drive after creating a new partition. So if I understand correctly , I have to put all the programs in the start menu? Not quite sure how to do it but I think I can figure it out..I'll try anyway. Thanks again Cheers Violetta
