Sisyphean task to rebuild? The freakin' island was blown apart! ... No rebuild. ... Sisyphus couldn't swim with that stone and you can't get women without a Leonardo DeCaprio! You fled to Atlantis. That's wot hoppened.

It is under consideration that the ancient volcanic island of Santorini may have once been the mysterious Lost Atlantis. But you say you left there for Atlantis following the destruction. Then tell us o' ancient one... what happened in Atlantis? How many great Minoan statesmen made it off Santorini?

P.S. Please excuse the pejorative tone. I was there too, you know. I missed the wrath of Zeus. Or was it a Vulcan trick? Whatever. I was just off the reef doing a little sports fishing when a passing catamaran driver gave us the news. Then there was this dreadful noise, not unlike that one might expect of a thousand cats and dogs fighting. We left for Crete immediately.
