What I meant was that the AMD cannot
be evaluated and valuated in the same
way as the company who currently dominates
the market. However, AMD now has the product
slightly better than Intel, and sells
it slightly cheaper than Intel. Not too
shabby considering all Intel's R&D ...
Therefore AMD achieved two out of three
components of successful market penetration.
The last component - volume and availability -
will come with Dresden FAB, so will the profits,
and stock following later. IMHO. The risk
however is all yours :)
