Gottfried, you wouldnt happen to have a graph of front-end and back-end b2b over the last 5 years would you? there seems to be a divergence between the front and back. unit volume is still high. didnt this happen at the last downturn? DRAM producers were cranking out too many DRAMS keeping unit volume up while front end production plateaued? i know DRAM chips play a lower percentage now for equipment sales but it would be interesting to see patterns in these cycle. did anyone on this board predict the last peak in 97????
