Well, I don't think there are many Republicans that support abortion rights. But Dole and McCain are less hard right on this issue than the others. If this is a very important issue for you, then I don't think you can vote for any Republican, Michelle.

I'm not sure this is a sexist thing (as there are many Republican women who don't support Roe v. Wade), but more a question of certain political segments being more influenced by religious doctrines that oppose abortion. You'll note that McCain showed how "unwanted" children may be given a home by adopting one himself. At least he's not one to tell others to have children, and then say someone else should adopt them.

I don't think that McCain and Dole will be supporting abortion rights any time soon, but it's not a big issue with either of them. I'm convinced at this point that McCain could in general do more for the country than any of the current candidates of both parties.
