But acceptable is a silly word for it. We wouldn't like it. None of us (I'll assume here- not knowing for sure about some of you) wish to be raped and have children foisted upon us. But where would "acceptability" come into play when there is no society left? Is there some "Platonic" acceptability? Are you assuming that humans carry within them some genetic coding for acceptable behavior- and that acceptable behavior is a constant? I am not sure this is true. And I say again- I don't know why our sensibilities to the hypothetical are relevant. I certainly have not discovered anything about myself I did not know. Everything is still relative, and I still know how I feel about rape on a personal level.
