chalu2, I can see your point about building a bomb, Mafia Henchman, and other situations. But my understanding is that most of these people go to great lengths to use secret codes because they know they're probably being bugged on telephones and computers as it is.

So I guess my question is, how do we keep the bad guys from running amuck, without infringing on John Doe's right to privacy? In other words where do we draw the line?

Personally, I wouldn't mind giving up some privacy, if it would help stop some lunatic who's planning to murder, bomb buildings etc. C Kahn
