Zonkie, you ask if I feel badly because I have made positive statements about the company, and the stock price has gone down hurting people who bought at higher prices. If you are accusing me of failing to be omniscient, I plead guilty.
First of all, no one should invest in BB stocks unless he is an experienced investor, adept at reading SEC documents, risking only money that he can afford to lose. If there are people reading the boards taking investment advice from these threads, taking insane risks with money they cannot afford to lose, they must reap the consequences of those decisions.
As for my participation on the boards, I have been critical of management. Remember Gordon's Revolving Credit Line? I have begged people to read the SEC documents. I have posted comments on the auditor's statement about TSIG continuing as an ongoing concern. Remember Dave Gore's post quoting Gordon saying we would have a billion dollars of revenue? I found the mathematical error in that and contacted the webmistress to have the post removed. I did subsequent projections using CD gross profit rather than the inflated CD revenue figures. I attached warnings to my gross profit projections reminding people that they are highly unreliable. I pointed out to potential investors that they should look into share dilution before investing. I invited people to post challenges to my projections. I have defended Ditchdigger's, Zeev's, and Sword's right to post on the thread. I have not shouted slogans. I have not portrayed myself as an example to be followed by others. Shall I go on?
If I had realized that the stock was going to fall from $.40 to $.04, I would have sold at $.40. I thought each new level it dropped to was a bottom; I have my broker's stock purchase confirmation slips to prove it. But that's history; there is only one ultimate decision to make today: buy, sell, or hold. On Friday, I bought. Today, I hold. The reasons for optimism have been recounted here many times: new financing, Lifetime Learning deal and others executing this fall, potential for new deals near.
Do I feel guilty about my participation on the thread? No. Am I happy about the stock price performance? No. Could I possibly be happy about the stock price in the future? Yes.
