Rainmaker Digital Pictures Lists on the Toronto Stock
Exchange
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--Rainmaker Digital Pictures Corp.
("Rainmaker") is pleased to announce that its common shares will
commence trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE) at the
opening of markets on Wednesday April 02, 1997 under the symbol
"RNK". Rainmaker currently has 9,939,519 common shares issued and
outstanding. Rainmaker will maintain its listing on the Montreal
Stock Exchange, where it has traded since the Company originally
went public in May of 1995.
For the fiscal year ended December 31, 1996, total revenue
increased to $16.1 million, or growth of 61 percent over the same
period last year, and net earnings increased to $2.04 million or
$0.22 per share.
Rainmaker Digital Pictures provides post-production services to
producers of feature films, television programs, and new media.
The Company operates fully integrated digital facilities in two of
North America's most vibrant filmmaking centres: Vancouver,
British Columbia, and Los Angeles, California. Rainmaker's Los
Angeles studio specializes in digital visual effects for the
Hollywood film- making community. Rainmaker's Vancouver facility
offers services including film-processing, film to video transfer,
video editing, digital visual effects, computer animation, MPEG
video compression and DVD interactive authoring.
