Jill,

I'll come out of lurking to say that Rambus is one of my holdings and I anticipate a very valuable part of the value chain for Qualcomm as well. There are plenty of naysayers about Rambus, but if it does indeed lead to the highly anticipated discontinuous innovation which is lined up with the biggies like Intel and Microsoft (claims that Rambus memory is needed for full Windows 2000 power), as well as Dell and Compaq with end of September machines shipping with Rambus - then for my way of gorilla/king investing - it is one to have and to hold.
