Planet City Adds Director

SEDONA, Ariz., Aug. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Planet City Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: PINC - news), is pleased to welcome Mr. John A. (Tony) Healey, to the company's Board of Directors.

Terry Dennis, President and CEO of Planet City, said ''We are very fortunate to be associated with Mr. Healey, who brings a wealth of experience to Planet City. Mr. Healey recently retired as Managing Director of The Trust Company Of The West tcwgroup.com (TCW). Prior to retiring in March of 1999, he ran the TCW/Dean Witter Global Communications Fund, and the Global Value Fund.

He has been on the Board of Emerging Markets Country Investment Trust Plc. since its inception. The trust was listed on the London Stock Exchange. Also, he is the sole non-executive Director of Financial Risk Management in London, England.

He is currently a Senior Advisor to Stratos Advisors, an Emerging Markets Management Company. He is also on the advisory panel of Superwire.com.
