I thank you for the complement re: John Galt. The man is a very intelligent, educated and interesting person. I do not personally like the forum of the thread but only because I am not terribly aggressive. And it isn't a lack of feeling that leads me to say >>"...... I don't know and I don't care........"<< about the root causes of your mental illness, if you have one, but rather I find the issue of cause moot. By the time you manifest a mental illness what difference does it make whose fault it is you have it. Far better to move on and take whatever responsibility you can for your life, or if you cannot be responsible for yourself than others must care for you. How is this inconsistent with who I have said I am on these threads? If you think I delude myself over who and what I am, I think you are mistaken although you are free to believe anything you want as are we all. I feel the unexamined life is not worth living and that life is too short to be petty and rude. I look forward to meeting friendly people with good ideas who understand that good manners are the skids on which society slides along. It is fine to dislike society or to shun it James, but to stand in the middle of it and say you revile it seems a bit hypocritical. Perhaps your own mask is slipping just a tad.
