Yea, I have read and overheard that the chamber below the Sphinx was used for initiation by the "mystery schools" that taught esoteric ("secret") philosophy bearing on man and his relationship to nature and the universe, amongst other things.

Today, a number of "mystery schools", notably the Rosicrucians, do organize, from time to time, conducted tours to the Great Pyramids.

I have also overheard that various vowel sounds, properly applied, under certain conditions, could generate tremendous power and that such power might have played a part in the construction of the pyramids.

I am inclined to believe the pyramids were constructed by former visiting space aliens whose knowledge and technology were far superior to ours today.

P.S. BTW, the chamber below the Sphinx and the tunnel to the Great Pyramid were predicted to be dicovered beneath the sands long before they were "discovered"! Evidently some members of the mystery schools knew of their existence prior to their "discovery".
