The American Stock Exchange said it will list options on Blockbuster Inc. Class A Shares (NYSE:BBI - news) Aug. 25th.

Blockbuster options will open with initial strike prices of 10, 12-1/2 and 15, with position limits of 22,500 contracts.

Initial expiration months will be September and October 1999 and January and April 2000. The specialist unit for the new option is still to be announced.
