From what i've read, this is now the practice followed by the vast majority of big ticket item sellers on Ebay- which explains why ebay is trying to curb it. But they can't. None of this has anything to do with their stock price, which will continue to rise with all the rest of the internuts. Easy Al greenspan is certainly leaving one hell of a mess for people to clean up after he announces his retirement tomorrow. ------------ For those who do not use Ebay, the most common scam I have seen is to set a high reserve price that is not met, then Email the highest bidder offering to sell the item at the highest bid price.
